Context
As the platform grew, customer success needed a scalable way to onboard self-guided users and maintain engagement with onboarding demo attendees. Without structured guidance, users faced steep learning curves and delayed activation.​​​​​​​
Goal
Create two email series (6 onboarding + 8 tips) that reduced time-to-activation and deepened platform adoption through clear visual hierarchy and easy resource access. The design needed to feel like a navigation or map, guiding users through their journey.​​​​​​​
Your Role
Visual Storytelling: Custom header graphics for all 14 emails representing each topic
Progress System: Progress bar showing users their position in the journey
Navigation Design: Button system linking to previous content, help center, and OMG Academy​​​​​​​
Impact
Enabled scalable onboarding that reduced burden on customer success while maintaining a high-touch feel. Visual progress indicators built user confidence, increasing platform adoption and long-term retention.
